Eva Kiedroňová (born 1963 in Třinec) is the author of literature specialising in educating parents in childcare and the natural psychomotor development of infants up to the age of one; she is also the author of new approaches in hardening, massaging, exercising and swimming with infants, toddlers and preschool children. == Work career == Eva Kiedroňová was originally a pediatric rehabilitation nurse; she was devoted to competitive swimming and water rescue. Since 1989, she has been organising courses focusing on correct baby handling techniques, giving advice about child psychomotor development, exercising and swimming with newborns, infants and toddlers, massaging infants and hardening children from birth. She is working towards better education for specialists and parents in the area of child development and childcare in tune with children's needs, disposition and their psychomotor maturity.〔Petra Jurásková, ''Nová kniha Kiedroňové rozdává rady rodičům'', Horizont 1/XIII/2004, s.6〕 In 1985, she was the first person in Czechoslovakia to start developing and promoting the idea of swimming with infants and other activities for families with small children. In 1988, she started co-operating with Dr Iva Malá (specialising in child psychomotor development). In 1989, she founded Kenny Baby Club in Třinec (focusing on swimming with infants and toddlers). She promotes parenthood education by combining presentations, experience courses, online courses and books.
