== Work career ==
Eva Kiedroňová was originally a pediatric rehabilitation nurse; she was devoted to competitive swimming and water rescue. Since 1989, she has been organising courses focusing on correct baby handling techniques, giving advice about child psychomotor development, exercising and swimming with newborns, infants and toddlers, massaging infants and hardening children from birth. She is working towards better education for specialists and parents in the area of child development and childcare in tune with children's needs, disposition and their psychomotor maturity.〔Petra Jurásková, ''Nová kniha Kiedroňové rozdává rady rodičům'', Horizont 1/XIII/2004, s.6〕
In 1985, she was the first person in Czechoslovakia to start developing and promoting the idea of swimming with infants and other activities for families with small children. In 1988, she started co-operating with Dr Iva Malá (specialising in child psychomotor development). In 1989, she founded Kenny Baby Club in Třinec (focusing on swimming with infants and toddlers). This made Třinec the first town in Czechoslovakia, with swimming lessons for infants.〔''Přístav dětství – Baby club Kenny'', Vaš osobní lekař, duben 2006, č.4, s.6〕
During 1988–95, with her team of instructors, she gradually organised and introduced swimming with infants in 42 cities and towns in the Czech Republic and three cities in Slovakia. Almost the whole of the Czech Republic swims following Eva Kiedroňová's method and principals.〔MUDr. Bohumil Ždichynec, Něžná náruč rodiču, Vaš osobní lekař, 12.2004, č.12〕
In 2005 she built her first own centre for swimming with infants, toddlers and preschool children in Třinec and called it Přístav dětství (The Port of Childhood).〔BOUČKOVÁ, Jana, ''Přístav dětství aneb nový bazén pro plavání kojenců a batolat'', Bazén & sauna, 9/10 2006. s.2〕 In 2013, she founded the Czech Association of Instructors for the Psychomotor Activities of Infants, Toddlers and Preschool Children (CAIPA), which in 2014 organised the 1st international conference on the subject: The Significance and Ways of Swimming with Infants and Toddlers in Individual Countries,〔(Usnesení 107 Rady Města Třince 27.02.2014 )〕 which was attended by representatives from 21 countries worldwide.
In 2013, she opened Eva Kiedroňová's Institute of Education,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Katalog firem a institucí • Firmy.cz )〕 with the aim of focusing on educating parents and specialists in the area of childcare.
She promotes parenthood education by combining presentations, experience courses, online courses and books. Using the same approach, she focuses on educating specialists in many other countries.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Lady Business )
